Our pack adventures provide the perfect mix of exercise, structure and fun.
Dogs explore private land in carefully supervised groups, helping build confidence, improve social skills and burn off energy in a safe environment.
Every new dog completes a trial day before joining regular adventures to ensure they're comfortable and the pack remains balanced.

Overnight Boarding
Unlike traditional boarding kennels, days are filled with adventure walks, supervised play and plenty of space to run. All dogs sleep inside overnight in crates - keeping everyone safe, settled and comfortable.
Homestays are ideal for dogs who thrive on companionship and routine, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away.

Keep those claws in check. Nail trims are available to book alongside any stay.
Food — from $7*
Kim can provide food if needed -biscuits at $7/day or raw food at $15/kg. Just let her know when you enquire.
Mobile grooming — subject to availability
Kim works alongside Claire from Jim's Dog Wash Waitakere, who offers mobile grooming services after your dog's homestay. Availability isn't guaranteed, but get in touch and Kim will check in with Claire to see what can be arranged.

At Kim's K9s, dogs stay in a relaxed home environment where they spend their days exploring eight acres of secure land, socialising with other playful pups and enjoying plenty of exercise, enrichment and affection. Evenings are spent indoors, relaxing as part of the family - not alone in a kennel.
With years of professional experience in animal care, behaviour and training, every dog receives personalised care in a safe, structured environment that feels like a second home.
Meet Kim
Dogs have always been at the centre of Kim's life.
Originally from England, Kim built her career around caring for animals, completing qualifications in Animal Care and Canine Behaviour & Training before gaining hands-on experience across veterinary nursing, dog training, animal control, pet retail, daycare and pet insurance.
Since founding Kim's K9s in 2017, her goal has remained the same: to provide a safe, enriching environment where dogs can learn, play and feel completely at home.

With eight acres of fully fenced land in Bethells Beach, dogs have the freedom to run, explore, sniff, roll, chase and just be themselves in a safe, natural environment. From wide open paddocks to shaded resting spots, every part of the property is set up for both adventure and downtime.
It’s not crowded kennels or confined runs - it’s space, fresh air and freedom, with structure and supervision woven through every moment.

Yes. We like to meet every dog before their first stay or daycare visit to make sure they're comfortable, get to know their personality and ensure Kim's K9s is the right fit.

All dogs sleep inside overnight, in crates. It keeps everyone safe, settled and on their best behaviour.

Yes, everyone's out together, supervised and under control at all times. We keep a close eye on the group dynamic to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and part of the pack.

Bring your dog's food, any medication they require and any other essentials. Bedding will be provided. You're welcome to bring a bed or blanket, though fair warning: it may come home a little dirty.
